Performance evaluation systems serve as critical mechanisms for organizational effectiveness, employee development, and strategic alignment across both public and private sectors. This research examines the differential patterns of employee satisfaction with performance evaluation processes between these two sectors, analyzing the underlying factors that contribute to satisfaction levels and their impact on organizational outcomes. Through a comprehensive review of existing literature and theoretical frameworks, this study reveals significant differences in evaluation practices, employee expectations, and satisfaction outcomes between public and private sector organizations. The findings suggest that while private sector organizations generally demonstrate higher satisfaction rates due to clearer performance metrics and reward structures, public sector organizations face unique challenges related to bureaucratic constraints, political influences, and complex stakeholder expectations. This analysis provides valuable insights for human resource practitioners and organizational leaders seeking to enhance performance evaluation effectiveness across different sectoral contexts..
