Abstract

Dorsal preservation rhinoplasty (DPR) has evolved significantly as an alternative to traditional hump resection methods. This review explores the anatomical principles, historical development, and modern classification of DPR techniques and tries to show why these techniques had many limitations, while now it is popularly used.
