Abstract

Most of the new compounds synthesized such as chromeno [4,3-b]pyrrole, coumarin, oxindole annulated vicinal dispiropyrrolidines / pyrrolizidines, tricyclic quinolinopyrrolidines, tetracyclic quinolinopyrrolizidines, quinolinopyranpyrimidinediones, tetra and pentacyclic tetrahydro quinolinopyranpyrimidinediones / pyrazoles / coumarins were tested for antimicrobial activities of all human pathogens [Bacillus subtilis, Staphylococcus aureus,Escherichia coli, Vibrio cholera, Proteus mirabilis], antioxidant activities, antifungal activities and the results are encouraging.
