Background: Exaggerated physiological jaundice is physiological jaundice that persists longer than usual. Phototherapy is the first line of treatment for physiological jaundice, although it has many adverse reactions. Recently, field massage has become increasingly used as a complementary therapy for treating hyperbilirubinemia. Some studies have pointed out that massage therapy improves neonatal jaundice by reducing the enterohepatic bilirubin cycle or inhibiting its production.
