Abstract

Radio frequency (RF) energy harvesting has emerged as a promising solution for powering low-power electronic devices and Internet of Things (IoT) applications. This paper presents a comprehensive analysis of optimized rectenna array configurations for harvesting RF energy from multiple ambient sources. The study investigates various antenna designs, rectifying circuit topologies, and array optimization techniques to maximize energy conversion efficiency. Through systematic analysis of dual-band and multi-band rectenna systems; this research demonstrates significant improvements in power harvesting capabilities across different frequency bands. The proposed optimization methodology achieves up to 85% conversion efficiency for multi-source RF energy harvesting applications, making it suitable for sustainable wireless sensor networks and self-powered IoT devices.
