Abstract

The efficiency in the SCM strategies is basically what drives the FMCG sector. The strategies, in addition, have a very direct impact on customer satisfaction and organizational performance. In this paper, the discussion will explore how SCM strategy affects customer satisfaction by emphasizing critical elements of supply chain responsiveness, flexibility, and sustainability. This article identifies the major SCM practices, drawing from vast literature and case studies, such as the management of supplier relationships, green logistics, and reverse logistics. The study further discusses their potential role in meeting consumer expectation, lead time reduction, and cost optimization. This research underlines how digital innovations, big data analytics, e-business strategies, and IoT-enabled visibility tools have enhanced the operational activities of supply chains and led to improved on-time delivery in FMCG industries. The real-life examples in the emerging and developed markets elaborate on the problems and solutions in implementing effective strategies of SCM. The paper also deliberates how integrated SCM models lead to customer retention and loyalty, thereby resulting in competitive advantage in the dynamism of FMCGs.
