This study investigates the factors affecting residents’ willingness to pay for green infrastructure in Hanoi by combining the Theory of Planned Behavior and environmental behavior theory. A cross-sectional survey of 1,092 residents in Hanoi City was carried out using a non-probability sampling method. The results show that perceived environmental benefits, trust in government, and personal environmental responsibility are the most important factors influencing residents’ willingness to pay for green infrastructure. The results indicate that improving public awareness, building trust, and encouraging environmental responsibility are essential for increasing residents’ willingness to support green infrastructure.
