Abstract

In order to revitalize the Mo'odulele Poem, this study is being conducted as part of the healthy lifestyle initiative that Tobu Hukaea-Laeya is undertaking. Within the context of Tobu, the irony lies in the fact that their memorandum of understanding with the government for a residence permit in Rawa Aopa Watumohai National Park includes a commitment to preserve the knowledge that is associated with their ancestral culture. Contrary to popular belief, the Tobu are unconcerned about the management of waste from modern products, particularly plastic. Waste is dumped in the National Park, which is designated as a conservation area, but there is no proper management in place. Although the Mo'odulele Poem has the potential to increase public awareness, modernity gives the impression that it ignores the wisdom contained within their various oral traditions. When attempting to explain events, qualitative case studies are utilized. Interviews with informants were selected through the use of purposeful sampling, which was based on the objectives of the research. Based on the study's findings, it was discovered that Modulele poetry can promote a clean and healthy lifestyle through social media, cultural attractions, and poetry at traditional events. Only the exploration and description of Mo'odulele poetry is included in this study; therefore, additional research is required to promote a clean and healthy way of life.
