Institutions of higher education (ihes) have an essential role to play in resolving critical global issues like poverty, gender inequality, and climate change. This paper examines the universal obligations of ihes to support sustainable development through education, research, community service, and policy influence. Through developing inclusive curricula, encouraging gender equality, and advancing innovative climate initiatives, such institutions can spearhead social change and environmental conservation.
