Introduction:
Skier’s thumb, also known as gamekeeper’s thumb, is an injury of the ulnar collateral ligament (UCL) of the metacarpophalangeal (MCP) joint of the thumb. It commonly results from a forced hyperabduction and hyperextension injury. A complete UCL rupture with a Stener lesion often necessitates surgical repair to restore stability and function.
