Today is the age of science & technology. Online learning platforms have completely transformed the perspective of English language learning. It is well known that English is a global language. It is the second language of communication after the national language of any country in the world. This study explores the effectiveness of two important platforms YouTube & Instagram in enhancing English language acquisition and help to improve English proficiency among learners. This research adopts a comparative approach utilizing secondary data from various resources like previous research papers, survey reports, books, and personnel interviews with the learners, research scholars & educators. These platforms introduce more immersive and interactive approach to learn English language. This study emphasizes on the integrating of these platforms in to learning strategies for more dynamic & accessible English education. This study examines how each platform makes distinct contributions to vocabulary acquisition, speaking fluency & communication skills, learner’s motivation. Main outcome of this study is that YouTube & Instagram promote casual, socially driven language exposure and provide organized language input and participatory learning. The motivation behind this study is that lots of research exists on traditional learning methods, just few of them are focused on technology-based learning techniques. It can help non-native speakers to achieve proficiency more effectively. This study also differentiates between traditional & modern learning techniques. Outcome of the research is to revolutionize the way English language is learned and taught making it easy and interesting for both learners & educators. This study concludes that each platform offers unique advantage, but combined use can create more holistic and engaging learning experiences.
