The pandemic has significantly impacted healthcare services in India, with digital health becoming increasingly popular. However, understanding the effectiveness and adoption of these services requires a thorough understanding of human behavior. A systematic review of 75 publications on telemedicine utilization in Indian healthcare services revealed high patient satisfaction, despite a shortage of person-centered care. Factors such as age, education, marital status, rural life, and disability impact usage, health literacy, and infrastructure has impact on telehealth productivity. Long-term adoption depends on healthcare personnel's behavioral characteristics and attitudes toward technology management, promoting confidence, e-Health literacy, to attain sustainability and maintaining independence and integrity.
