However, mounting challenges such as climate variability, poor infrastructure, and regulatory hurdles have highlighted the urgent need for innovative approaches to farming. Emerging startups are responding by introducing advanced digital technologies such as artificial intelligence (AI), blockchain, and the Internet of Things (IoT), while also incorporating indigenous farming knowledge. This combination is helping to improve crop productivity, ensure sustainability, and strengthen farmers’ access to reliable markets.
