This study investigates the role of psychological environmental factors in shaping the Quality of Work Life (QWL) of faculty members in academic institutions. Specifically, it examines key factors such as job security, recognition, respect, fairness, open communication, leadership support, and work stress, and their influence on faculty well-being, job satisfaction, and work-life balance. Conducted across engineering and management institutions in Kanpur, Uttar Pradesh, the research employs a survey methodology, collecting data from 400 faculty members. The analysis, using regression, ANOVA, and correlation techniques, reveals significant relationships between psychological factors and QWL. The findings emphasize the importance of creating a positive psychological environment within academic settings to enhance faculty motivation, performance, and overall satisfaction. These insights offer practical implications for academic leaders to foster supportive and effective workplace environments.
