Rare Case Of Ovarian Fibrothecoma In Post Enopausal Woman

Abstract

Fibrothecomas are mostly benign ovarian tumors , we are about to discuss a rare case of ovarian fibrothecoma in a 64 year old postmenopausal woman who presented with complaints of bleeding per vaginum , On ultrasound examination a well defined hypoechoic lesion is seen in the utero-vesical pouch , MRI pelvis is suggested for further evaluation . On pelvic magnetic resonance imaging a large mass measuring 7.5 x 4.8 x 6.2 cm³  is seen. Biopsy is done and the final HPE confirmed the diagnosis , ovarian fibrothecoma .
