Abstract

Pelvic fractures represent a significant clinical challenge due to their complexity and the severe complications associated with them.(1) These injuries often result from high-energy trauma such as road traffic accidents, falls from heights, or crush injuries. The burden of pelvic fractures is substantial, with these injuries accounting for approximately 3-8% of all fractures.(2) The high morbidity and mortality rates associated with pelvic fractures are primarily due to hemorrhage, associated organ injuries, and complications arising from the complex anatomy of the pelvic region.(3) Effective management of these fractures is crucial to reduce these risks and improve patient outcomes.
