The Role Of Bri Kur Financing In Supporting The Green Economy For Sustainable Development From An Islamic Economic Perspective

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the role of People's Business Credit (KUR) financing in supporting a sustainable economy and to review its suitability with an Islamic economic perspective. The study employed a qualitative approach, with primary data sources obtained through interviews with BRI Regional Office Surabaya and KUR customers, as well as secondary data in the form of journals and relevant research findings. Data collection was conducted through interviews, observation, and documentation, while data analysis included data reduction, presentation, and drawing conclusions. Data validity was tested through extended interviews and discussions. The results indicate that KUR financing plays a role in supporting a sustainable economy by integrating environmental, economic, and social dimensions, through strengthening the productivity and resilience of MSMEs, increasing financial literacy and inclusion, and encouraging more responsible business practices.
