Technology In Rural Areas Of Uttarakhand

Abstract

Technology adoption in rural Uttarakhand has grown rapidly in the past decade, driven by e-governance initiatives, ICT-based agricultural services, and expanding broadband infrastructure. However, geographic isolation, infrastructural gaps, and socio-economic disparities continue to limit its transformative potential. This paper examines the current state of technology in rural Uttarakhand, evaluates challenges and socio-political implications, and suggests strategies for inclusive development.
