AIM AND SCOPE

International Journal of Ubiquitous Computing (IJUC) is a peer review and open access International journal that includes all aspects related to ubiquitous computing and ubiquitous intelligence as well as the smart world, with emphasis on methodologies, models, semantics, awareness, architectures, middleware, tools, designs, implementations, experiments, evaluations, and non-technical but crucial factors in the practical applications of ubiquitous computing and intelligence related to economics, society, culture, ethics and so on. IJUC provides an International forum to report, discuss and exchange experimental or theoretical results, novel designs, work-in-progress, experience, case studies, and trend-setting ideas. Papers should be of a quality that represents the state-of-the-art and the latest advances in methodologies, models, semantics, awareness, architectures, middleware, tools, designs, implementations, experiments, evaluations, applications, non-technical factors and stimulating future trends in ubiquitous computing areas.

The journal publishes original research papers from all over the world and covers the wide variety of topics that include ad hoc networking, ambient intelligence, context adaptation design, context database, context media processing, intelligent network, intelligent sensor network, smart objects and environments, ubiquitous intelligence modeling and ubiquitous privacy and trust. IJUC objective is to provide an outstanding channel for academics, researchers, scientists, engineers, managers, technology professionals, educators and policy makers working in the different disciplines to contribute and to disseminate innovative and important new work in the broad ubiquitous computing areas and the emerging ubiquitous intelligence field.

READERSHIP

International Journal of Ubiquitous Computing covers the wide variety of topics that include ad hoc networking, ambient intelligence, context adaptation design, context database, context media processing and intelligent network. The journal aims to publish research articles that help to improve international research on ubiquitous computing and to provide various methodologies that are used in ubiquitous computing.

The journal is designed to provide latest scientific information and research relevant to ubiquitous computing to its readers. By covering both the original research papers and industrial experience-analysis studies and reports, the journal is targeted to be read by security experts, cyber crime investigators, network administrators, professors, researchers, scientists, engineers and technology professionals.

IJUC encourages its readers and contributes by publishing the content relevant to the state-of-the-art techniques used in solving problems in relation to mobility dimensions & design, real and cyber world semantics, technology compositing and ubiquitous networks mobile.

Corrections to Published Work:

Honest errors are a part of research and publishing and require publication of a correction when they are detected. We expect authors to inform the Journal’s Editor of any errors of fact they have noticed or been informed of in their article once published. Corrections are made at the journal’s discretion. The correction procedure depends on the publication stage of the article, but in all circumstances a correction notice is published as soon as possible. Details can be found on the Call for Papers section of the journal website.

 Retractions:

Retractions are considered by journal editors in cases of evidence of unreliable data or findings, plagiarism, duplicate publication, and unethical research. We may consider an expression of concern notice if an article is under investigation. All retraction notices will explain why the article was retracted. The retraction procedure depends on the publication stage of the article.

Review Process:  This journal uses double-blind review, which means that both the reviewer and author identities are concealed from the reviewers, and vice versa, throughout the review process. The articles is submitted to minimum 3 reviewers specialize on the topic for their reviews.

Paper Submission: All submitted articles should report original, previously unpublished research results, experimental or theoretical, and will be peer-reviewed by at least two referees. Articles submitted to the journal should meet these criteria and must not be under consideration for publication elsewhere. Manuscripts should follow the style of the journal and are subject to both review and editing. All draft papers should directly be submitted to the technical editor.

Article Processing Charges:  There are no publication or page charges in the journal.

Frequency: Two issues per year.

Submission: Authors are requested to submit their articles through ONLINE SUBMISSION SYSTEM or via ijuc.editor@gmail.com.
